Your data is private to your account

Everything you enter — your income, expenses, savings, and any transactions you import — is tied to your account and yours alone. When you're signed in, the app only ever loads and saves *your* data. Other users can't see it, and it isn't pooled or shared between accounts.

Your password is never stored in plain text

We never keep your actual password. When you set it, it's run through a one-way hashing process and only the scrambled result is stored — a value that can't be turned back into your password. When you sign in, we hash what you type and compare the results. This means that even in the unlikely event someone got a look at the database, your password itself wouldn't be there to read.

Your sign-in session works the same careful way: the app holds only a scrambled version of your session token, never anything that would let someone reuse it.

Your financial figures aren't sold or shared

We don't sell your data, and we don't share your financial figures with advertisers or data brokers. Your numbers exist to power your forecast and budget — that's it.

Some premium features (like the AI review) send a summary of your plan to an analysis service so it can respond. That happens on the server, only when you ask for it, and is used to generate your result — not to build a profile of you.

Email verification

When you sign up, we send a verification link to your email address so we can confirm it's really yours. You'll see a gentle reminder banner until you verify. It's not a hard gate — you can use the app right away — but verifying helps keep your account secure and makes sure password-reset emails can reach you. If you didn't get the email, you can ask the app to resend it.

Backups keep your data safe

We keep secure, regularly-tested backups of the app's data. "Tested" is the important word: a backup you've never restored is just a hope, so we check that ours actually work. That way, if something ever goes wrong, your plan and your history can be recovered.

This is an estimate, not advice

One more thing worth repeating: the app's projections are educational estimates to help you think, not financial, tax, or investment advice. They rest on the assumptions you enter, and real life will differ. For decisions that matter, talk with a qualified professional.
